New Jersey homeowners who are struggling with the COVID-19 crisis may be eligible for mrotgage relief, including a 90-day grace period, no new foreclosures, no credit score changes for accessing relief by contacting their financial institution. If your mortgage company is not responsive or uncooperative, contact the state's Department of Banking & Insurance at (609) 292-7272 between the hours of 9:00am to 5:00pm EST Monday through Friday.
The organizations on this site may have emergency and long term help for tenants and residents facing eviction. Funds may be available to help those in need pay their rent, security deposits, or other housing expenses.
